LOCATION: 40° 25' 2" N, 29° 25' 5 E, six miles off Gemlik.
RESTRICTIONS: Berthing in daylight and unberthing 24 hrs.
MAX.SIZE: DEPTH/LOA/DWT: 12 m./220 m./40.000 DWT.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: for general cargo vessels Lat.40 26 40 N, long. 29 07 12 E and for tanker Lat. 40 28 00 N , Long. 29 03 00 E. (Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station.)
PILOTAGE: is compulsory for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by the GEMPORT Pilot VHF channels 14, 71 or 16.
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and provided by the GEMPORT.
BERTHING: Two vessels 30.000 dwt. and 3.000 dwt. can berth and 2 different parcels can be discharged simultaneously
CARGO HANDLED: Fertilizers, Ammonia, Phosphate By vessels' own gear, only liquids are handling through shore lines.
CARGO CONNECTION AVRG. RATE: Ammonia 2 x 10inc. 900 tons/hr, Fertilizers 1.500 mt/day , NH3 1x10inc. 500 tons/hr.
STORAGE AREA: Ammonium Nitrate 150.000 tons, Ammoniac 2 x 20.000 tons.
DENSITY: 1018.
FRESH WATER: available by trucks.
BUNKER: available by trucks.
AIRPORT: At Bursa distance apprx. 40km and 157km to Istanbul Airport from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round.
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available.
