DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT: Tugsas installations are 15 km. away
from Samsun city center and outside the jurisdiction area of port
monopoly administration of Samsun. Fertilizer in bags and bulk,
phosphate and
liquid bulk cargoes of ammonia, sulfuric, phosphoric acids are
handled in the port of the line connecting.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: One mile off the harbour.
PILOTAGE: Compulsory. Provided by port monopoly
administration of Samsun (TCDD)
TOWAGE: compulsory .
HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Vessels' own gear to be used. Grabs and
tunnels are provided by the installations. One crane is capacity of
30 tons.
