LOCATION: 40° 46' 04" N, 29° 31' 11" E
MAIN ACTIVITY: Storage of liquid chemical, oil, petroleum
products and dry cargoes.
RESTRICTIONS: Mooring is carried out during daylight only,
Unmooring is carried out around the clock. Max loa 200m. and max
drafts 8.80. Scrap and containers are not accepted.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: please see "Gulf of Izmit" (Information on
best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station)
PILOTAGE: is compulsory in the Gulf of Izmit from Darica to
the port and for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by
the Dekas Pilot.VHF channels 12, 16.
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and
provided by the Med-Marine.
BERTHINGS: Jetties No.1 and 2 are used for liquid cargoes for
discharging and loading. No shore cranes available on jetties. Pier
No.3 and 4 for dry and general cargoes.
EQUIPMENTS: 10 mobile cranes up to 90t., 2x10t., 3x80t. Weigh-bridge
1x60 t, 1x100 t. Rates Load/unload 2.000 mts/day for cargoes in bulk.
PIPE LINES: 13 lines each 4-6 inches. Possible to store 48
different kinds of chemicals 6 different Parcel can be discharged at
the same time from same vessel simultaneously. There are 26 mild
steel and 4 stainless pipelines from the jetty platform to the shore
tanks. Terminal is equipped to handle 8 - 10 different cargoes at
the same time
One 4" Hose is for Methyl Ethyl Glycol (stainless), one 4" Hose is
for Acrylate.

52.000 m3
