    NEMRUT BAY: (including Aliaga)

    Nemrut bay is located on the Eastern Aegean, piers and facilities at Nemrut Bay are owned by industrial companies located in this area. A number of these ports and jetties were built to serve specific purposes,

    Location 38º 46' N 026º 55' E

    Nemrut Port Limits: Nemrut bay is situated on the south side of the port of Aliaga. It is the area between the mainland and a straight line drawn true north from Kizilburun which is situated in position Lat.38º 45' 00 N Long.026º 53 50' E.

    The bay is divided into two areas, the inner port and outer port.
    Inner port; is the area remaining between the imaginary line connecting the south end of the Petkim Petrochemical Complex's breakwater with Karacadogan Peninsula situated in position Lat.38 46 10 N long. 026 54 22 E.
    Outer port; is the area between interior port and Nemrut bay boundaries.

    PILOTAGE : is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports. , Call Pilots on VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay. There are two pilot stations at Nemrut bay.
    - Petkim Pilot for Petkim quays ( pilot embarkation place 38 47 N 026 54 E)
    - Uzmar Pilot for berths in Nemrut bay. ( pilot embarkation place 38 46,8 N 026 54,4 E)

    PILOT LADDER: will be prepared on vessel's starboard side. If your vessel's freeboard exceeds more than 5 meters, please prepare a combination ladder.

    ANCHORAGES: Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Nemrut Pilot.

    ALIAGA TUPRAS TERMINAL ( 38º 50' N. 026º 57'E.)

    LOCATION: Aliaga is approximately 40 miles NNW of Izmir , on the southern arm of gulf of Candarli. Aliaga port is situated within the following co-ordinates:

    Lat. 38º 49' 46" N Long.026º 53'48" E
    Lat. 38º 50' 53" N Long.026º 53'00" E
    Lat. 38º 50' 54" N Long.026º 58'12" E

    Aliaga port is divided into the Inner and outer Harbour. Their co-ordinates as follows;
    INNER HARBOUR:
    Lat. 38º 50' 10" N Long.026º 56'40" E
    Lat. 38º 49' 53" N Long.026º 57'45" E

    OUTER HARBOUR:
    Lat. 38º 50' 53" N Long.026º 53'00" E
    Lat. 38º 50' 54" N Long.026º 58'12" E

    PILOTAGE : is compulsory for all vessels of 150 grt. And over entering Aliaga port limits. Pilot boards and departs 2 to 3 miles West of Tasli Burnu Light. For anchored vessels, the pilot will board at the same location.
