DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT: The pier is managed by the Municipalities. This pier is comparatively small and are general limited to a small volume of coastal traffic serving the local needs of provincial towns.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: An open pier, anchoring 5 - 6 cabless off the pier. (Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station.)
PILOTAGE: is compulsory for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by the GEMPORT Pilot VHF channels 14, 71 or 16.
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and and provided by the GEMPORT.
BERTHING: The ships berthed to pier usually have to utilize their own gear for loading and discharging. Mobile cranes can be hired privately to load/discharge up to 200 Tons SWL. The stevedoring services through private contractor.
STORAGE AREA: There are no storage facilities.
FRESH WATER: available by trucks.
BUNKER: available by trucks.
AIRPORT: At Bursa distance apprx. 40 km and 148 km to Istanbul Airport from the port.
WORKING HOURS: after sunrise until sunset. If necessary can be effected 24 hours loading/discharging operation.
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by trucks.
WASTE OIL DISPOSAL: service is not available.
