LOCATION: Ambarli port is located on the North shores of the sea of Marmara. Ambarli Port Complex is located 34 km. away from Istanbul and is very close to TEM and E-5 highways. The port is divided into 2 region. Region No.1 Ambarli New Port, located to the west of the oil terminals, consisting of privately owned dry, bulk anf container terminals. Region No.2 consists of the oil platforms, jetties and mooring buoys.

RESTRICTIONS: Tankers are restricted to daylight berthing only. All other vessels berth thought 24 hours.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: The anchorage is located to the West of the ports holding ground good.

PILOTAGE: : is compulsory for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, Call ARPAS Pilot on VHF channels 12, 16 two hours before arrival at Ambarli.Pilots boarding point is located in position Lat. 40 56.7 N, Long.28 40.5 E. ARPAS, which has been providing Pilotage and Tug-Boat services within the boundaries of the Ambarli Port since 4.09.1998.

TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and and provided by the ARPAS. There are 3 modern and powerful tug-Boats (ARPAS I-II, Kaptan H Alpaslan ) of over 30 ton pull-power, 22 meters long and with 2100 BHP and twin propellers; a fast pilot boat (Arpas VI) with 2x300 BHP and twin propellers; and two mooring boats (Arpas III-IV).
PILOT LADDER: will be prepared on vessel's starboard side. If your vessel's freeboard exceeds more than 5 meters, please prepare a combination ladder.
AIRPORT: At Istanbul distance apprx. 14 km from the port.
DEVELOPMENTS: There is a breakwater under construction to the West of the general cargo port.

(A) KUMPORT

CARGO HANDLING RATES: Bulk Cargo 8.000tons/day, Container 2.000 TEU/day, General cargo 2.000tons/day., Logs 2.400tons/day., Steel products 10.000tons/day, Rulos Paper 1.500tons/day, Ro-Ro 50TIR/hr.

DESCRIPTION: Akçansa Ports, run by modern principles of port management, for the handling of all kinds of bulk load and other cargo also serves third parties.
BERTHING: There is a total berthing length of 805m. width 25m. with Ro-Ro berth.

CARGO HANDLED: Scrap, Pig-iron, Pipes, Paper, Wood products, Timber, Coal, Chemicals, General cargo, Palletized cargo, Bulk, Liquid and Solid. Loading and discharging capacity 10.000 tons/day.
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENTS: Mobil Cranes; 2x100tons, 2x50tons, special mobile cranes 1x50tons, cat loader 6 pcs,There is special equipment available to discharge scrap, logs, paper etc. There are 12x6 cu.m. mechanical graps and 4 hoppers available. Weigh-bridge 80 tons.
STORAGE AREA: There is 1.000 sq.m. closed storage area and 18.000sq.m. open storage area that is custom bonded. There is additional 19.000sq.m. open storage area.

CARGO HANDLED: Scrap, Ferro alloys, Pig-iron, Rebars, Billets, Pipe, Paper, Wood products, Coal, Sugar, Cocoa, Cereals, Chemicals, General cargo, Palletized cargo, Bulk, Liquid and Solid, Container etc.Loading and discharging capacity 10.000 tons/day.

CARGO HANDLED: Bulk cement, trass (cement additive) coal and clinker. The terminal does not handle any third party cargoes.
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENTS: 1 pneumatic mobile crane, 1 loader, 1 forklift and 1x2cu.m. grab.
STORAGE AREA: Open storage area 20.000sq.m. total storage area 36.000sq.m.

DESCRIPTION: Soyak Port is a general cargo, Ro-Ro and container port. SOYAKPORT whose all sub-structural works and surface plants were constructed by Soyak Group as a multi-purpose port , all kinds of goods from container to automobile, from cast goods to mixed commodities, are being loaded and unloaded with the appropriate equipment.
BERTHING: There is a total berthing length of 350m.

CARGO HANDLED: Multipurpose (except liquids).
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENTS: Mobil Cranes; 2x7tons, 1x80tons, 1x25tons , several tower cranes up to 130tons,1 loader, stackers 3x45tons, forklifts up to 5tons, weigh-bridge 80 tons, 8 TIR low bed trailers and 1 tractor.
STORAGE AREA: There is 2.750 sq.m. closed storage area and 65.000sq.m. open storage area that is custom bonded.
